Your safety on campus is of utmost concern to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott. We are committed to providing you with the information, services and programs that will help you to be a knowledgeable participant in basic crime prevention practices. No amount of police, lighting or electronic security measures can ensure your safety. The ultimate responsibility for your safety rests with you! Please take advantage of the services and programs presented on this site. Use common sense and precautions for your safety on and off campus. Report incidents and cooperate with investigations when an issue of safety is involved. This will ensure a secure campus and a great experience for you as a member of the university community.

Reporting an emergency
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to report all criminal acts and safety hazards. The proper reporting procedure is to contact campus safety officers at 928-777-3728 or dial 'zero'. These numbers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. In the event a real emergency, if imminent danger to life exists, the Prescott Police Department/Fire - 911 systems should be utilized. Once this is done, contact the Campus Safety office. This will allow the campus Safety office to direct emergency services to the proper location on campus, it will also facilitate proper reporting, resource utilization, and enable the university to study trends and take preventive action.
